The eighth Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy has been held in Linz / Austria on September 14 – 18, 2015. The EMSLIBS 2015 symposium has been organized by the Institute of Applied Physics at Johannes Kepler University Linz with support by the Department of Physical Chemistry of the University of Vienna and the Department of Chemistry of the Masaryk University Brno.
More than 155 scientific contributions have been presented at EMSLIBS 2015 by 200 participants coming from 29 countries. Best poster awards have been presented to four students and young researchers. More than 10 companies have presented their products and services in the industrial exhibition and three sponsors have supported this international conference.
Selected contributions presented at the symposium and accepted after peer-review will be published in Spectrochimica Acta Part B (information on manuscript submission).
